After Hours: Art Lab – WATERCOLOR

Welcome to Art Lab! At May's watercolor-focused event, you will receive a back-to-the-basics guide to watercolor– learn about how artists at Gage use watercolor, how to work with the materials, and then participate in a guided session where you will create your own painting from inspirations in the studio.

Art Lab will be facilitated by a Gage teaching artist.

About the After Hours Series

Art History Lecture
Special guest lecturers from the local art scene will discuss an art history topic they have a deep understanding of, and share their interesting perspectives. Q&A open at the end of the lecture. 
Wine and beverages available for purchase.
Public: $15, Members: $10, Atelier: Free 
Doors open @6:00pm, lecture begins @6:15pm

Drink & Draw
Grab a glass of wine or a bubbly water, a drawing pad, and some charcoal or pencils! Sketch from a live costumed model, and a Gage monitor will time poses and offer up some drawing tips throughout the session.
All supplies included. Wine and beverages available for purchase.

Art Lab
Explore and try out new mediums! Led by a Gage Teaching Artist, you are invited to play with a medium that you're not familiar with– charcoal, printmaking, clay, or oil. Get back to the basics!
